About the Event

Teaching is more than just a job; it is a calling, a passion, and a chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people. In Delaware, there are more opportunities than ever for aspiring educators of all ages to pursue a career in teaching.

This spring, join us for the second annual 2026 Delaware Teacher Pathways Showcase at Wilmington University, New Castle Campus. Discover Delaware’s innovative efforts to inspire and prepare future teachers and learn how literacy education is being woven into these programs.

Over the course of this showcase, you will have the opportunity to:

🤝

Connect with educators, administrators, and local organizations that support teacher development and pathways to instruction in Delaware in a range of roles and settings.

💡

Learn how Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs) are aligning with the Science of Reading to elevate literacy instruction statewide.

✍️

Discover the professional supports available through Early Literacy Leadership Academies (ELLA) and Secondary Literacy Leadership Academies (SLLA) and how they are empowering educators at every stage of their journey.

Engage in interactive workshops and informative sessions designed to provide you with information about the variety of programs aimed at building Delaware’s future educators.
