About the Event
Teaching is more than just a job; it is a calling, a passion, and a chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people. In Delaware, there are more opportunities than ever for aspiring educators of all ages to pursue a career in teaching.
This spring, join us at the 2025 Delaware Teacher Pathways Showcase at Wilmington University, New Castle Campus to learn more about Delaware’s innovative programs to engage more people to become teachers.
Over the course of this one-day showcase, you will have the opportunity to:

Connect with educators, administrators, and local organizations that support teacher development and pathways to instruction in Delaware in a range of roles and settings.

Engage in interactive workshops and informative sessions designed to provide you with information about the variety of programs aimed to build Delaware’s future educators.

Understand various pathways and how to hire graduates from these programs.

Gain practical insights and advice on how to implement similar programs in your education agency to make a meaningful difference in the classroom and beyond.

Education is the cornerstone of our society, and teachers are the architects who shape its future. Attendance at the 2025 Delaware Teacher Pathways Showcase is the first step towards becoming a part of this exciting community.
We invite you to register for the 2025 Delaware Teacher Pathways Showcase if you represent:
- A state agency working in education
- An institute of higher education or teacher-certification program
- Delaware-based school administrators, school boards, or superintendents, including human resources representatives
- A community-based organization or non-profit which supports education at the local, state, or federal level
- For-profit organizations that support innovative staffing initiatives for educators

The 2025 Delaware Teacher Pathways Showcase is dedicated to expanding awareness of the multitude of pathways available to individuals wishing to become certified, effective teachers. At this event, you will have the opportunity to:

Listen to panel discussions exploring the work being done in each teacher pathway in Delaware.

Participate in breakout sessions to have more in-depth conversations about the teacher pathways and the challenges and successes the leaders have found.

Sign-up for a site visit to a local school to view a pathway in action.
